Amanda Bennett is a results-driven leader known for her clear-eyed approach, creative problem-solving, and commitment to doing things the right way. With a background spanning administration, governance, and strategic development, she brings equal parts practicality and vision to every project she touches.
She’s known for cutting through complexity, turning policy into plain language, and building frameworks that actually work — for people and for organizations. Whether she’s shaping employment standards, leading operations, or championing women in agriculture and business, Amanda blends compassion with command and never loses sight of what matters most: clarity, integrity, and real-world impact.
Amanda Bennett was raised in Alberta’s Northern Peace River Country but has resided in Southern Alberta for the last 20+ years and brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the role of Executive Director.
Since 1996
The Canadian Beef Grading Agency is a private, not for profit corporation. In 1996, the responsibility for the delivery of beef, bison and veal carcass grading services was transferred from the government to the accredited Canadian Beef Grading Agency. The CBGA continues to focus on its mandate to deliver cost effective, accurate, and consistent grading.
